It helps to repair the hair by getting to the root of the problem. It will smooth your edges and will keep even the most rebellious curls in place. There will be no flaking as alcohol is not apart of the ingredients.

On the jar, the company touts the following:

• Smooths and holds down stubborn, curly strands of hair.

Pros vs. Cons

Pros

Our purchase was made from Amazon for $9.05 (USD). That price is very affordable as a little goes a long way. For personal use, one jar should last for several months .

We were happily surprised when we opened the jar and saw the product was clear. That is great news for those who rock colorful shades.

There is also a very slight scent. It is neither overwhelming nor unappealing.

The actual product was not greasy or tacky to touch. When it was applied to the edges and smoothed down with a soft boar bristle brush, hairs laid down with ease. A soft hold would be the best description.  Even after waiting a few days, the edges were still laid.

Cons

We honestly looked for some cons with this hair product, but to date, we have not found one. If that changes, then we will update this post.

We must note that water is the first ingredient, which means it is nourishing, but that may turn some people off. As most of you know water can revert straightened hair to its natural texture. However, when we lightly applied this to a person who freshly straightened their curly, wavy, and kinky hair, we found no reversion. The hair was still straight days later, but everyone’s hair is different.
