How do you wear your hair at night? Do you have a nightly ritual or do you improvise?
It does not matter what hair texture you have. You should take care of your hair when you are sleeping. After all, we spend the majority of our lives sleeping.
If you have long hair we suggest you we suggest you braid it. Wearing a protective hairstyle such as braiding will prevent tangling as you toss and turn at night.
We also recommend applying a small amount of moisturizer and/or oil to the length and tips of the hair. No more than a pea size amount. This will keep your hair moisturized, which will help prevent breakage. Secure your ends with an elastic or roller.
Finish your nightly routine by wrapping your hair with a satin (or silk) scarf and/or bonnet. If you do not want to do that, invest in a satin or silk pillowcase. Satin and silk will not rob your hair of moisture and your delicate strands will sweep gently across the fabric instead of snagging on it.
Wearing your hair at night properly will save you time in the morning. No more fighting to style your hair or comb through it. In the morning, your hair will be moisturized, ready to fluff and walk out the door.
